Autumn Russell, LSWAIC

Autumn (they/them) received a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Northern Arizona University. Along with their master’s degree, they received an additional certificate for completing clinical social work training. They currently hold an LSWAIC (Licensed Social Worker Associate-Independent Clinical.)

Autumn specializes in working with LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages and has experience supporting clients through both social and medical gender transitions. Autumn works with people of all ages and specializes in teenagers and young adults. They are also experienced in several therapy modalities, with specific interest in trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and rational emotive behavioral therapy.

Autumn believes in taking a strengths-based approach and prioritizing the dignity and autonomy of those they work with. They believe that every client brings a unique set of strengths and experiences to the table, and that it’s those strengths that provide the framework for growth and change.
