I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from City University of Seattle. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA). I have worked with children and families in a variety of settings throughout my career.
My approach to counseling is to focus on strengths and help to assist with solutions rather than telling what to do. My focus is to address short-term problems as well as long-term psychological well-being. The more you can tell me what and how you are feeling, the more effectively I will be able to assist you in resolving your personal problems and issues.
I believe that the client is central to the therapeutic process and brings with them their unique experiences, strengthens, and resources which are invaluable for growth and change. I believe that each of us has the inner strength and resources to accomplish our life goals. I believe all individuals are deserving of acceptance, respect, compassion, and understanding, and all children are capable of success in academics, extracurricular activities, and social interactions.
